Dangerous goods cargo (DG)

Dangerous goods cargo, also commonly referred to as hazardous goods, indicates cargo which obtains the ability to cause harm to an aircraft if not handled correctly according to regulations (DGR). Dangerous goods can be split up into nine classes. For example, Class 1 consists of flammable goods and Class 9 includes items such as lithium batteries along with other miscellaneous hazardous goods.
