Is DriveELD Certified with the FMCSA?
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration includes the Drive ELD on their approved list of devices. As such, the Drive ELD device is FMCSA-certified.
Can the DriveELD Device Change Trucks?
The ELD device can change trucks, provided that both trucks belong to the same carrier. As such, the device can only be used with trucks belonging to the same carrier.

How Do I Connect My Phone or Tablet to the DriveELD hardware?
Drivers can simply log in to the app and select the “Device Status” button on the “Today’s Trip” screen. This will take you to the “Connect Your ELD” screen. From there, you can connect your device by pressing on the serial number. Make sure to have your Bluetooth enabled before you try connecting your device!

Had this ELD for about two years now. I called them to ask when my renewal was due and they told me to leave a review if I felt motivated to do so. Well, after recommending them to several friends on the road and using them for a while now, I can say that they make logging very easy. I don’t really have problems with it, and if I ever do, I call them and always get an answer/call back very shortly. Editing is easy, and I like that I can do IFTA with it. They’ve added a lot of stuff in the past year too, which I’ve liked. Keep er up Driveeld.

He has a 2001 Freightliner and we were unable to get One20 to work with it. And, they were absolutely no help what-so-ever! They tried working with my driver over approximately 15-20 days to try and solve the problem, but it started shutting down his transmission for some strange reason. He then received a call back from someone with your company saying they were going to come out to his home in Vancouver, WA to get the issue resolved. In fact, I think my exact response was, “Right!” I think it was 6 days later he said he would go there and I received a call from my driver on that day to tell me your guy actually showed up in an Uber. The DriveELD app is very simple to use on any mobile device and is very economical compared to many of the other options available on the market today. It is also very simple to install and works with light duty trucks with the OBDII connector. The staff is very accessible if you have any questions and are open to suggestions for improvements. I would highly recommend purchasing the DriveELD app if you are just now looking for your first device, or are unhappy with your current application and are looking for an improved option.

I have been using Drive ELD now for about a month. For 7 months I tried to use the Rand McNally system and it was a nightmare. During that time they sent me numerous units and could never get them to work. On March 31st I was pulled over and received 4 violations. When I got home I call 3 of the top ELD rated companies on this site. Bailey is the only one that called me back. They mailed me the unit and that night my Dog ate the cord! I called Bailey and asked if I could drive up and if he would help me put it in. I was out of time. No time to mail it. I drove 2 1/2 hours and he put it in for me and I have not had any problems since. If you think the price is too good to be true, it really is not! It works and is really easy to use! My experience with Bailey and Drive ELD is the difference of night and day compared to Rand McNally!!!
