A prioritized list of approved, contracted freight carriers that a shipper prepares for each lane. The sequence in which carriers are offered trips can be based on any number of criteria, such as service level or rate per mile. If the carrier at the top of the list isn't available for a trip, the second carrier listed in the routing guide will be asked, then the third, etc.
