Live human organs

Time-sensitive shipments of live human tissue that require careful packaging and handling to maintain medical viability, typically entailing the use of special solutions, ice and sometimes machines. Organs are often expedited via commercial air, but helicopters and private planes are also used depending on how long the tissue in transit can survive outside the human body. A heart can only be preserved for six hours, for example, and thus is usually transported via helicopter or private plane.
