Sometimes called double-drops, lowboys are specialized trailers similar to flatbeds, but with two drops in deck height located directly behind the gooseneck and just before the wheels. With a portion lower to the ground than step-deck/double-drop trailers and often equipped with a ramp, lowboys can carry more oversized equipment, such as bulldozers.
